Over the last year it was apparent to my sister and myself that my 89 year-old mother’s hearing had declined significantly. She knew she needed to get new hearing aids, but was dragging her feet because she had not had good experiences at her ENT’s office. I live at a distance, so I researched other options in her area and came across Audibel in Morehead. The reviews were very encouraging , and my sister who lives in the area had also heard excellent reports about Audibel. I called for more information and was happy to learn my mother could obtain an appointment without delay and that she could realistically have new hearing aids in her ears within a few weeks! The front office staff was professional, knowledgeable and well-versed regarding the challenges older individuals face making and getting to appointments. My mother made an appointment and was extremely pleased with John, the audiologist. He tested her, fit her with new hearing aids, followed-up on more than one occasion to assure she was hearing well and that she understood how to use and care for her hearing aids. She felt listened to and cared for. I’ve noticed that she is brighter, more alert, and interested in rejoining her book group and other social activities. The other day she commented that she felt she “had rejoined the living.” I can think of no better outcome. My sincere thanks to John and the Morehead Audibel staff.

Getting this set of hearing aids has been a purchase that we've never regretted. It put life back "to normal" for us as a couple. When we did try to talk, by always having to shout, it made me sound hateful, and made my husband feel old. We can "talk" again. You disengage from people when you can't hear and you don't want to ask them to repeat themselves. He can talk to family at dinners, people at stores. It gave him back his personality. The attention from Mr. Logan to getting the settings and fit right was reassuring and professional. His receptionist is friendly, easy to talk to, very helpful. I have no hesitation, at all, in recommending this Morehead, Ky location for Audibel for getting a "good" set.

Hearing exam was very straight forward and the results were explained sufficiently. The discussion on the appropriate device was focused solely on one product line and did not fully explore the practical application of the blue tooth capabilities. The Vitality products require the use of accessories in order to use BT as a streaming device. That expense, coupled with higher prices of the Audible Vitality line will makes it unaffordable for most people. The proposed hearing sides were otherwise an very good solution with customization.
