Over the last year it was apparent to my sister and myself that my 89 year-old mother’s hearing had declined significantly. She knew she needed to get new hearing aids, but was dragging her feet because she had not had good experiences at her ENT’s office. I live at a distance, so I researched other options in her area and came across Audibel in Morehead. The reviews were very encouraging , and my sister who lives in the area had also heard excellent reports about Audibel. I called for more information and was happy to learn my mother could obtain an appointment without delay and that she could realistically have new hearing aids in her ears within a few weeks! The front office staff was professional, knowledgeable and well-versed regarding the challenges older individuals face making and getting to appointments. My mother made an appointment and was extremely pleased with John, the audiologist. He tested her, fit her with new hearing aids, followed-up on more than one occasion to assure she was hearing well and that she understood how to use and care for her hearing aids. She felt listened to and cared for. I’ve noticed that she is brighter, more alert, and interested in rejoining her book group and other social activities. The other day she commented that she felt she “had rejoined the living.” I can think of no better outcome. My sincere thanks to John and the Morehead Audibel staff.

Getting this set of hearing aids has been a purchase that we've never regretted. It put life back "to normal" for us as a couple. When we did try to talk, by always having to shout, it made me sound hateful, and made my husband feel old. We can "talk" again. You disengage from people when you can't hear and you don't want to ask them to repeat themselves. He can talk to family at dinners, people at stores. It gave him back his personality. The attention from Mr. Logan to getting the settings and fit right was reassuring and professional. His receptionist is friendly, easy to talk to, very helpful. I have no hesitation, at all, in recommending this Morehead, Ky location for Audibel for getting a "good" set.

This place is great! I had a hearing aid in 2012 and I wouldn’t wear it longer than a month—it gave me a lot of anxiety because of background noise. When I met with John I was nervous because of my previous experience, but he made me feel comfortable and explained how he can tune my hearing aid to help the background noise + tune to my needs. John tuned my hearing aid almost perfect, if not completely perfect first time (I’ve been wearing my hearing aid for about a week). I’m really impressed with how quickly our appointments are + how John will take the time to answer any questions!

Met John Logan, for a hearing test for my son and myself. He checked inside our ears and did the hearing test. Both of us had good hearing. John is a super nice guy, he made the testing fun and it was absolutely free. Got to say, much better than going to a dentist! .. If there is any chance you feel you may have a hearing issue, I would highly recommend seeing John. It took under 30 minutes to have our testing done and was an enjoyable experience.

After 10 years and two sets of hearing aids later, I took a gamble and stopped by the Richmond Audibel Hearing Aid Center. I was greeted by Ms. Reba. Super friendly and handled the front office with ease. Shortly I met John. When I finished the testing John assured me that he had the product I needed to hear significantly better. He was right! These are the best hearing aids I have ever had. Follow-up has been superb. John is very knowledgeable. All in all a great experience!

Dr John Logan is very personable and very knowledgeable. I had a mild hearing loss, and he said I wasn’t quite ready for hearing aids. Most doctors would have wanted me to purchase them right now, but Dr Logan believes in helping his patients more than the mighty dollar. The office was clean and the staff very friendly.
