Hearing Instrument Specialist
Jeff has been our Quality Assurance Manager since 1999. He is from the Lexington Area and a graduate of Lafayette High School Class of 1990. Jeff valiantly served in the US Air Force. He began working in the hearing aid field by repairing and building hearing aids. Four years later he received his License as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and has been servicing the community ever since. Jeff is determined to reach as many patients as possible and provide them with the best care and technology available. He often travels to many of the local nursing homes and assisted living facilities to provide services to those who cannot travel.
Mike Hoagland
Audioprosthologist
Mike joined the Audibel Family in August 1991. He is an Audioprosthologist with 20 years of experience fitting hearing instruments. He attended the University of Kentucky and proudly served in the US Navy in which he is a Desert Shield/Desert Storm Veteran. Mike was appointed as a Kentucky Colonel by the governor of the Commonwealth. Being appointed a Kentucky Colonel has become synonymous with strength of character, leadership and dedication to the welfare of others. Mike is also a member of the Hearing Aid Association of Kentucky and is currently serving his second term as Vice Chairman on Kentucky’s Licensing Board for Hearing Instruments. He served as Chairman during his first term.
Ed Hill, ACA
Audioprosthologist
Ed has been a part of the Audibel family since February 1975. He attended school at Laffette Vocational Techical School as well as the University of Kentucky. He is licensed by the Kentucky Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments and has a certificate of completion in audioprosthology. Ed was also commissioned a Kentucky Colonel and is a member of The Grand Masonic Lodge of Kentucky. He has more than 36 years of experience and is dedicated to the well being of all patients.
John Logan, BC-HIS
Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
John Logan. board certified as a Hearing Instrument Specialist, has been presented with the “International Center for Hearing Excellence Award” for demonstrating superior customer satisfaction with hearing aids and the services that Audibel Hearing Aid Centers of Morehead and Richmond offices provides for patients John is a member of the International Hearing Society and has served as a board member for the Hearing Aid Association of Kentucky (HAAK). He has a certificate of completion from the International Institute for Hearing Instrument studies in Audioprosthology and has over 15 years of experience in the hearing industry.
Lane Hait, BC-HIS
Owner, Board Certified Hearing Instrument Specialist
Lane Hait, owner and specialist, began in the hearing aid business in Lexington, KY with his father, Howard H. Hait, in 1967. In 1972 he was instrumental during the process and creation of state legislation and regulations of hearing aid licensure and became one of the first 50 in the state of Kentucky to receive a license as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. During this same year the Commonwealth of Kentucky granted him a license as a Hearing Aid Dealer in the state of Kentucky. In 1983 he became “Board Certified” as a Hearing Instrument Specialist by the NBC-HIS. Lane is also a proud member of the Hearing Aid Association of Kentucky in which he has been a standing member and proudly served as their President for one term and as a board member for 10 years. Lane also served as on the board for the Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments for 12 year. He is currently enrolled in the American Conference of Audioprosthology Program administered by the National Institute of Hearing Instrument Specialists.
